Since Threads launched over a week ago, Meta has been pretty vocal about the text-based app.

Meta’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg has frequently posted on Threads when the app hit user milestones, Instagram head Adam Mosseri has actively responded to user requests on Threads for new features, while Meta has used its sister sites, including Instagram, to advertise Threads’ existence. Simply put, Meta wants to be very clear that it is focused on building an app that everyone will enjoy.

Dentsu Americas’ new CEO Michael Komasinski: AI could be a differentiator among holdcos

Jacki Kelley’s departure from her role as CEO of Dentsu Americas and chief client officer for Dentsu International came as a surprise right after Cannes Lions ended, but the agency holding company moved right away to fill her CEO slot with Michael Komasinski.

(Kelley returned to IPG as chief client officer and chief business officer, where it’s whispered she has a fair shot at eventually becoming the first female CEO of an agency holding company once Philippe Krakowsky steps aside.) 

A thoughtful and surprisingly humble CEO, Komasinski is an eight-year veteran of Dentsu, having spent much of his time overseeing the growth and development of Merkle, the holdco’s data-driven performance arm. It’s why his former title was global CEO of customer experience management (CXM) practice. Past experience includes stints at Razorfish and Nielsen.

Commutes are back as office mandates are being established. For some people, often those who moved as a result of the pandemic or took new jobs, that means traveling across states by train or plane to get to work.

The phenomenon has been documented on TikTok, where so-called super commuters as they call themselves on the platform are chronicling their journeys from their homes to workplaces on the days of the week they’re required to be in the office.
