Here’s what a $7M, 30-second Super Bowl ad can purchase in digital media in 2024

As the cord-cutting and streaming wars continue, the Super Bowl remains one of the last bastions for live events with a massive captive audience. To get in front of said audience with a single 30-second ad during the Big Game on CBS this Sunday, it’ll run advertisers $7 million. 

This year’s price tag mirrors last year’s $7 million, which was the most expensive Super Bowl ever for in-game ads. Brands like Oreo, Budweiser, Hellmann’s and DoorDash have already committed to the bit, releasing teasers of their ads online ahead of the Super Bowl. Others, like Danone, are opting to advertise around the Super Bowl with a flurry of digital ad spots.

TelevisaUnivision revela quien patrocinará su primera transmisión del Super Bowl en español

Llegó el esperado juego del Super Bowl 58 y con este las expectativas de la primera transmisión a cargo de TelevisaUnivision, completamente en español. El próximo 11 de febrero, la oportunidad es única para las grandes marcas, recordando que en la edición de 2022 el juego para habla hispana logró marcar un record de audiencia de 1,9 millones de espectadores para la cadena Telemundo.

Una de esas marcas es Nissan, la CMO de la compañía en Estados Unidos, Marisstella Marinkovic, dijo en un comunicado que la gigante automotriz aprovechó el momento “para emitir un anuncio en el idioma que reaviva el amor por Nissan entre los latinos biculturales”, añadiendo que la colaboración con TelevisaUnivision fue clave para unir la música y el deporte para crear un comercial en los dos idiomas. El anuncio de 60 segundos de Nissan, donde participa el Grupo Frontera, fue creado por TBWA Chiat Day New York.

Durante la transmisión especial de TelevisaUnivision desde el Caesars Palace en el Strip de las Vegas, que dará inicio a las 4 PM (tiempo del Este), se realizará una cobertura extensa con varios talentos de la cadena, además una presentación especial del cantante y compositor puertorriqueño Myke Towers. También, contarán con participación del campeón del Super Bowl Martín Gramática y la campeona mundial de Flag Football, la mexicana Diana Flores.
