Diego Ávalos vicepresidente de Contenidos para España y Portugal de Netflix, le explicó a Digiday por qué la empresa se inclina cada vez mas a invertir en este tipo de proyectos, incluida esta película que recrea el accidente aéreo que en 1972 estremeció Los Andes suramericanos, con un costo estimado en $65 millones de dólares.

“Cada detalle ha sido imprescindible para dar vida de manera única a este espectacular proyecto y por eso apostamos por él” dice Ávalos, quien recalca que la cinta tuvo la “colaboración de los supervivientes del accidente y los familiares de quienes no pudieron volver de la montaña.” Rodada completamente en castellano contó además “con talento español, uruguayo, argentino y chileno para dar vida a esta historia como merecía ser contada y en su idioma original” explica.
